Your account and all associated data are permanently removed within 30 days. Most data is removed immediately; some replicated copies (e.g., backups) are purged on a 30-day cycle.

Option 2: Email request

If you can't access the app

  1. Email privacy@getfamilyarmor.com
  2. Subject: Account deletion request
  3. Include the email address tied to your FamilyArmor account (the address from Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google)
  4. You will receive a confirmation within 7 days
  5. Deletion is processed within 30 days of confirmation

Parents and guardians

If you are a parent or guardian who originally provided consent for a child (ages 8–12) to use FamilyArmor, you can request deletion of your child's account by emailing privacy@getfamilyarmor.com from the same address used to provide consent. We will deactivate the child's account and remove their data within 30 days, in accordance with COPPA.

What gets deleted

What is retained

Effect on family members

If you were the creator of a family group, deleting your account will not automatically delete other family members' accounts. Family creation will transfer to another adult member of the family, or, if you were the only adult, the family will be dissolved and the remaining minor accounts will be reverted to a "no family" state until a new parent or guardian creates a new family.

If you were a member (not the creator) of a family, deleting your account simply removes you from that family. The family and its other members are unaffected.
